Here’s a peek at our latest video piece: MEET YOU IN SHOREDITCH. Frankly we conceived this in about 5 minutes over big tea and big pastries on the morning of what was in fact a stills shoot…but we really think it has something…it’s snowing outside, we’re bored, and we thought we’d give you all something to look at:) We shot it in…Shoreditch. It was freezin! We posted it for 2.5 minutes last week and had to take it down again…Now we can post it :) Like?
THIS! is funneeeeee! For those of you who glanced disinterestedly at my posts from Brussels you’ll know i was less than enamoured with the city during two days i spent there with good chaps who are MUMFORD & SONS. So, what happens when you blog about NOT liking Brussels? The national Belgian TV station gets in touch and asks to do an interview about the fact that you don’t like their capital city! :) What followed was an…unexpected day…in the company of producer Evan Lamos, a fine American gent who not only shot across town to shoot the piece but also drove us to the job and hung out for most of the day while we shot the band. I’m not sure if asking me to do a TV piece proves or disproves that Brussels really is…a BIT boring :)…
Well this is definitely the most ‘epic’ picture we’ve done! AND it’s taken an age to get it online. Deserving of it’s scale…here’s a little video introduction :) You can see it BIG SCREEN on my portfolio site www.johnwrightphoto.com As you’ll see the whole shoot was done with 5 girls, one chariot, a bundle of NIKON speedlights and one studio head. It was also the first serious outing for the LEICA S2 and the file quality is brrrrrrilliant.
Our first fashion video! We’re pleased to say it’s just been published…broadcast…published?…whatever the correct term is, by one of the UK’s weekly magazines on their fashion site. The whole thing was shot on a NIKON D3S and we’re very pleased with the results. Definitely more to come!
